The different stages of refurbishment of ballscrews:

4. Repair of ballscrews

Depending on the ballscrew condition and wear, the following operations are carried out :

	Replacement of balls, brushes and/or wippers
	Adjustment of preload
	Running-in of the ballscrew’s thread
	Repair or manufacture of new ballnuts
	Chrome-plating and grinding of the bearing journals
	Complete grinding of the ballscrew’s thread

If the ballscrew cannot be repaired, we will offer to make a new, fully interchangeable screw.
