The different stages of reconditioning of ballscrews:

4. Repair of ballscrews

Depending on the screw’s condition and wear, the following operations are carried out:

	Change of balls, brushes, and/or scrapers
	Adjustment of preload adjustment
	Lapping of the screw’s thread
	Repair or manufacture of new nuts
	Chrome-plating and grinding of bearing ends
	Complete grinding of the ballscrew’s thread

If the screw cannot be repaired, we will offer to make a new, fully interchangeable screw.
